What happens in the complimentary intial assesment?

The complimentary initial assesment is our opportunity to meet you and your company, as well as to gain a better understanding of the issues you hope for us to address in the future. During the intial assesment, we tour the facility or company in question, interview and speak with employees and leadership, and make observations. In the case of individual or personal coaching, the initial complimentary assesment includes on-one-one discussion time to evaluate issues specific to you. We use this information to give you a written proposal with pricing estimates and specific recommendations.

How long does the complimentary initial assesment last and what happens when it is over?

The length of the complimentary intial assesment varies depending on the size and scope of your organization's operations as well as the issues present. However, we recommend that you continue business as usual during our visit. We would simply like to get a feel for what a typical day is like, and request that you allow Lingo Consultant ample time to interview and speak to leadership, employees and staff if necessary. 


Once the physical evaluation is conducted, Lingo Consulting will put together a written proposal for you with pricing options, recommendations for improvements that we feel are necessary, and other valuable information. This sample overview and proposal  is completely complimentary as well and will be sent to you within 5-7 business days for your review.


After you have received and reviewed the complimentary proposal and receive your signed  proposal approval form , a deposit is placed for our consulting services (10% discount on total services for deposits placed within 10 business days of receipt of the complimentary proposal!) . Once we receive your deposit, we can get to work and make your business better!


Day 1: Complimentary Intial Assesment
Days 5-7: Receipt of the Consulting Proposal
Days  7-15: Time to place your deposit on consulting services. There is a 10% discount on total consulting services, should you place your deposit within 10 business days of receiving the written proposal!

 

*For individuals or private coaching, the process is almost identical. The same discounts apply for placing a deposit on consulting services within ten business days of receiving the written proposal. The intial complimentary assesment can last from 30-60 minutes, depending on your individual needs.

Our company is/I am on a very tight budget. Do you offer any discounts or have any special pricing options?

At Lingo Consulting, it is always our intention to offer our clients the most value at a reasonable price. We do have discounts available, and they are:

*10% discount for early deposits (ocurring within ten business days of receiving the written proposal, the discount is for total services and applied during final billing)

*15% discount for payment in full before second consultation. 


*15% discount for all 501 (c)3 non-profit organizations and educational institutions  (must pay in full within 30 days of second consultation). 


*To go along with our reasonable pricing policy, we can also arrange a payment plan for long-term projects. Additional discounts may apply for long-term consulting services as well.


NOTE: Discounts do not apply to taxes or expenses related to providing consulting services.

What kind of deposit do we need to place?

Deposits are 25% of the price quoted in the final approved written proposal and is due before any services can be rendered. Please see above for information on discounts for submitting your deposit early!

If I am not satisfied with Lingo Consulting, can we get a refund?

We regret to inform you that there are no refunds on consulting services with us. However, we promise to make every effort possible to enusre that you are not only satisfied with your experience with us, but that we exceed your expectations. Should you have a problem or concern at any time during the consulting process,  reasonable adjustments can be made, and we will absolutely make every available effort to accomodate your requests. 

What does a consultant really do?

This is one of our most frequently asked questions for a reason! There are many things a consultant can do, and many that they cannot. For example, a consultant can walk into your organization and assess problems based on the intial assessment and make recommendations, but a consultant cannot force organizational change.  


 THE CONSULTANT'S JOB: It is a consultant's job to see your business or organization with objectivity. It is a consultant's job to have a detailed plan for how to make improvements, and to be able to present that plan to you clearly. It is a consultant's job to implement the approved plan and make slight adjustments as needed. It is a consultant's job to work with your business to solve problems as a team at some junctures, and to work independently on issues at others. It is a consultant's job to make certain that he or she follows through on what he or she promises.


THE CLIENT'S RESPONSIBILITIES: It is the client's responsibility to respond to requests for information promptly. It is the client's responsibility to listen to the consultant's ideas with an open mind. It is the client's responsibility to follow through on implementing changes. It is the client's responsibility to make sure that the consultant has everything he or she needs on-site to conduct his or her consulting for the client, including necessary paperwork, access to employees and staff, and full support from the company leadership.
